Tony Vanderwarker, a board member for Writer House, reached out to me with a concept for a promotional. I agreed to volunteer my services, and he setup the location and coordinated with the highly trained border collie known as Zeiss.
The shoot was quick, only just a half day. As a crew of one, I found the best way to get movement was to put the camera on a high hat placed on a wheel chair. The biggest challenge of the day was managing the dog’s eyeline, but other than that Zeiss hit his marks perfectly.
All in all, it was a fun shoot with a quick 1 week turn around. I provided the voice over which was an in-post addition to help put a button on the overall concept. This first experience working with a highly trained dog was excellent!
